The Trump Tower Chicago is a 90 story high rise
development planned for occupancy by 2007 that will combine
luxury condominiums, hotel and retail space. Sonoma Construction
was hired to do an interior and exterior build-out of the
Trump Tower Chicago marketing suite in the Chicago Sun-Times
building. Working under a compressed, eight week timeframe,
we added a new exterior curtain wall and extended the existing
roof, which required multiple helicopter lifts. The resulting
exterior matches the proposed design of the new building.
The interior, where we provided custom millwork furniture
and custom glass, was designed as a model residential and
hotel unit. We also built several offices to support the Trump
Tower sales force.
